"I used a Nikon D800 camera with a Nikon 14-24mm F2.8 lens. I had a Lee SW150 .9 ND grad Hard Edge filter at Exposure 3mins, F11 at ISO 50. This location is a favorite of mine and I keep going back when I think the conditions are best. I really like the results of this shot, although I still think there is an even better possible outcome. The time, tide, wind and light have to all align and I might get what I'm chasing, I think this happens about twice a year. Even if I get the shot I'm after, I'll still keep coming back, a very special tree." - Paul

Awesome photos from PRO photographers
Your opinion matters, award these if you love them:
"The focus of my photographic journey is the development and expression of my personal photographic vision which has taken me in a variety of directions. My interactive media company supplied corporate, non-profit and educational clients with audio and visual material to tell their stories. I also taught photography and visual communication design at the college level. In addition, my MFA background is the basis for my fine art images which have little to no relationship with the real world. To support those interested in learning photographic fundamentals and express their own vision, I have created the Digiphoto Quick Start Guide, an eBook available at or www.flatbooks.com. Photography is an important part of my creative life and I enjoy sharing ideas that help others express themselves in creative ways through photography." - Richard
